Fujitsu to Sell Veritas NetBackup Appliances
Alongside existing Eternus storage systems

The appliances will be offered alongside the existing Fujitsu ETERNUS range of hardware and provide end users a range of data protection solutions.
Used by tens of thousands of businesses, NetBackup software simplifies and strengthens data protection throughout the enterprise. NetBackup Appliances provides both flexibility and cost savings by combining turnkey backup and recovery with deduplication solutions in an easy-to-deploy form factor.

NetBackup Appliance provides a wealth of capabilities for data protection across virtual, cloud and physical environments. The appliance range will offer enterprises cost-effective and data protection solutions.
Both NetBackup 5240 and NetBackup 5330 will help provide an easy-to-deploy and low cost backup and recovery solution for Fujitsu’s install base.
- NetBackup 5240: A versatile, cost-optimised, integrated backup appliance that can be deployed as a master server, media server or both.
- NetBackup 5330: A performance-optimised, integrated backup media server with high-density storage to support greater performance, capacity and resiliency in the enterprise.
Fujitsu is one of Veritas’ largest strategic partners. The introduction of NetBackup Appliances in the Fujitsu data protection portfolio further strengthens this alliance with value-added customer benefits.
