IBM Spectrum Control Storage Insights Software-as-a-Service

This release introduces:
- Direct support for Dell EMC VMAX, VNX, and VNXe storage systems
- Enhanced drive support for IBM Cloud Object Storage
- Enhanced external capacity views for IBM Spectrum Scale
- Additional replication views for vDisk mirror and HyperSwap relationships for SAN Volume Controller (SVC) and Storwize devices
Spectrum Control Storage Insights combines analytics and a history of storage management expertise with a cloud-based delivery model. Storage Insights enables companies to effortlessly optimize their storage infrastructure and data placement using predictive analytics in this intuitive, cloud-based solution.
Up until this point, Storage Insights has only provided direct support for IBM storage devices and support for non-IBM devices required that they be attached to an SVC or Storwize device. This release introduces direct support for Dell EMC VMAX, VNX, and VNXe storage systems.
