John Rollason has been promoted from marketing director, SolidFire, to products and solutions marketing, next-generation data centre at NetApp UK.

He was formerly marketing director, international for SolidFire, after 8 years at NetApp as product marketing manager EMEA and then director, product, solutions and alliances EMEA.

Before that, he worked at Nortel Networks for 7 years.
