It brings high-density and modular scaling for big data workloads. It offers eight 12Gb SAS host interfaces to support a range of configurations.
DeepFlash 150 enables big storage to expand scale-out deployments with a lower cost per terabyte and high density and performance.
When combined with IBM Spectrum Scale, this solution delivers data protection with rebuild times reduced to a fraction of the time needed with previous systems.
DeepFlash 150 supports 64 separate 8TB flash modules in a single enclosure. There are three standard configurations (128TB, 256TB, and 512TB) and an optional 128TB flash upgrade kit. This system can be deployed as a single flash device or with IBM Spectrum Scale as part of a multi-petabyte distributed deployment.
