Thecus Technology Corp. launched enterprise SAS-enabled NAS series N12910SAS and N16910SAS.

The N12910SAS and N16910SAS are equipped with the Skylake Xeon E3-1245 v5 3.5GHz quad-core processor, with 16GB (expandable to 64GB) of  DDR4 ECC RAM. DDR4 brings even performance with migration to higher speed, robust control features while improving energy economy with reduction in memory power demand.

With native support for SAS drives, users can experience the HDD performance of 12Gb. These models are 10GbE ready and support HA for system redundancy. The units also deploy Daisy Chaining technology which offers connections of up to four additional D16000s, allowing users to reach storage capacities of up to 800TB.

The NAS run on ThecusOS 7.0, providing  platform with an intuitive user interface and easy navigation. Key features include Photo Station, App Center and File Center.

These NAS are purposely designed to meet the needs of businesses working with big data. With their accelerated processing power, they provide enterprises with a fast, scalable and reliable storage solution.

Units will be ready to be shipped at the end of October.
