Vic Bhagat CIO, Verizon Enterprise Solutions

Christopher Formant, SVP and group president, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, has named Vic Bhagat CIO, Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Vic Bhagat will drive technology strategy and align IT with corporate objectives. He will focus on bringing a new level of efficiency to the enterprise unit as it accelerates its effort on delivering customer experience. In addition, his team will design and deliver the next-generation of integrated enterprise communications solutions that will provide incremental value to clients in an agile, trusted manner.

As a 30-year industry veteran, Bhagat most recently served as the EVP and CIO for EMC, where he was responsible for leading their IT transformation and overseeing their global centers of excellence that led to the delivery of IT as a service. He also provided leadership for EMC’s technology services and support to optimize enterprise processes and enable global sales. Prior to his role at EMC, he served at GE for more than 20 years, where he was CIO for multiple organizations, including GE Aviation Services, GE Global Growth and Operations, CNBC, GE Corporate, and GE India and Southeast Asia.
