He brings on board over 20 years of experience in the optical media industry, including having been CEO of Infodisc Technology in Europe and developing the firm into one of the leading players in the region. In addition to his executive positions, he has also served on the boards of Colonial Purchasing LLC and Mediatech, and started his professional career in the entertainment industry working for Deluxe Video Services.
He takes over from interim CEO Pascal Bosse, who moves away from operations and will now join FTI board and executive committee to represent the Investment and Development Office (IDO), FTI’s largest shareholder, and to assist on strategic matters.
The appointment of Gutowski underscores the commitment of the FTI board and shareholders to continue supporting and developing FTI into a leader in optical storage.
