Combination of Orbitera and Unitrends Boomerang
To offer AWS MSPs DR-as-a-service solution

The Orbitera Cloud Commerce Platform streamlines MSPs’ ability to sell, deliver and manage infrastructure and software in the cloud. Orbitera’s platform is paired with Unitrends Boomerang, a virtual appliance for replicating VMware VMs to the AWS cloud for low-cost backup and DR. The resulting offering will enable AWS MSPs to provide differentiation and maintain margin with DRaaS, migration, cloudbursting, and billing for AWS infrastructure.
According to Gartner, the public cloud market is expected to reach $89 billion this year, with backup and DRaaS being among the most frequently requested solutions. Many enterprises interested in deploying such solutions prefer MSPs and channel partners as their primary source of delivery, which provides an opportunity for MSPs.
