Sales Up 61% in 3Q15 for Infinidat
Including 255% Q/Q growth in international sales
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 9, 2015 at 3:33 pmINFINIDAT Ltd., provider of advanced enterprise storage solutions, delivered 61% quarter over quarter sales growth in Q3 2015, including a 255% increase in international sales.
49% of global sales came through reseller and distributor channels.
INFINIDAT, which has been shipping the InfiniBox enterprise storage solution since late 2013, surpassed a quarter of an exabyte in the amount of storage shipped to customers.
“We are consistently experiencing sizable sales growth from quarter to quarter, particularly around the world as we become further established in international markets such as EMEA and AsiaPac,” said Moshe Yanai, INFINIDAT founder and CEO. “While storage sales have stagnated for many traditional storage vendors, we are seeing exponential increases as a result of our ability to deliver a unique hybrid architecture with high performance, scalability, reliability and the best TCO in the industry. INFINIDAT is revolutionizing storage to provide customers with a solution that is cost-effective yet solves the challenges they are having with managing their expanding volumes of data.”
INFINIDAT added several brand name customers in Q3 from a spectrum of vertical markets, including finance and banking, insurance, telecommunications, education, healthcare and cloud service providers. New customers include Meitav Dash (Israel), CetSI (France), MD Anderson Cancer Center (US) and INetU (US).
INFINIDAT also signed agreements with 25 additional resellers and distributors in Q3, increasing its list of global channel partners to 104.
“As a cloud service provider, we wanted to be able to offer our customers a high performing shared SAN solution on which they could become quickly provisioned,” said Andrew Hodes, CTO, INetU, Inc. “We found that the InfiniBox outperformed every other spinning disk and hybrid solution we tested. What was more impressive is that the InfiniBox performance was near that of an all-flash array in many benchmarks and at a fraction of the cost per GB. We conducted numerous failure tests, ranging from taking out a node to pulling multiple disks, and the InfiniBox didn’t blink an eye.”
The InfiniBox storage solution delivers high performance enterprise storage at a disruptive price point. It offers mainframe-class reliability with a 99.99999% availability, while providing up to 900,000 IO/s and 12.5 GB/s of throughput.
By providing multi-petabyte capacity in a single rack, along with CDP and storage automation, INFINIDAT is changing the paradigm of storage efficiency and productivity while reducing operational overhead, complexity and cost.
