Addonics Technologies, Inc. announced a family of SSDs that support the CFast, mSATA and M2 form factors in both Industrial or enterprise grades.

Addonics mSATA-SLC

Made of SLC NAND flash, this industrial SSD boosts the TBW (total bytes written) durability five to eight times more than commercial grade MLC SSD.

This durable SSD is for mission critical applications that are deployed in industries such as data centers, finance and aerospace or manufacturing facilities with equipment operating in a harsh environment. All company’s SLC NAND flash SSDs are rated to operate in the industrial temperature range of (- 45°C to 80°C).

Addonics M2-SLC

The company’s enterprise SSD uses MLC NAND flash. Also rated to operate in the industrial temperature range, this enterprise SSD is more cost-effective than the industrial grade SSD. However MLC NAND flash, due to the higher storage capacity per cell incurs higher R/W cycles per cell than SLC SSD, which decreases the durability.

CFast

This SSDs range from 4GB to 256GB capacity. The company offers a line of converters, readers and duplicators for the most common SSD form factors.

Suggested retail prices of theses industrial grade mSATA Flash SSD is $325 for 32GB. The enterprise mSATA SSD starts at $54 for 32GB.
