Small Tree Provides Long-Term Shared Storage Solution for Seacrist Media
For post-production
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 4, 2015 at 4:23 pmEvery company dreams of buying a product that works without issue for years on end.
For Seacrist Media Solutions, this dream became a reality six years ago when they installed a shared storage solution from Small Tree Communications LLC to help streamline their production workload and improve project management.
Seacrist Media, a small production company based out of St. Paul, MN, was established 15 years ago and specializes in corporate industrial videos, training and product information videos, corporate overviews, and web-casting among various other services. Throughout the years they have been active in the industry, Seacrist Media has been recognized with multiple awards for their visual communications while providing clients, including 3M Company, with passion and quality products.
“The Small Tree system has worked flawlessly for us the past six years,” said Scott Seacrist, founder and CEO, Seacrist Media Solutions. “I’ve been incredibly impressed with the amount of work we’ve been able to do within our small production company as result of the time our Small Tree system saves us. The biggest benefit is that we were able to introduce a shared storage solution into our post environment at an affordable price with a product that is rock solid.“
Seacrist Media was in need of a solution that would eliminate the hassle of slow or nearly impossible file transfers, make editing suites collaborate and allow for HD video to download and stream without getting bogged down. Once the Small Tree shared storage system was installed, the company’s post-production team saw a change across its three editing suites, which feature three Mac Pros running Adobe Creative Cloud.
“I would definitely recommend Small Tree to fellow professionals,” said Seacrist. “It’s been a great experience all around from easy installation to excellent customer service. We found a partner in the shared storage space and are planning to further our growth and relationship for years to come.“
