Zerto Cloud Continuity Platform Enhancements Ushering in Evolution of BC/DR Software

Zerto, Inc. has kick off its sponsorship of VMworld 2015 with sneak peek product demonstrations showcasing cloud Continuity Platform enhancements ushering in the evolution of BC/DR software.

Company’s software provide file-level recovery from the journal to increase IT service continuity that optimizes productivity. Company’s newest innovation will extend advanced data protection features by recovering any file, VM or application from any point in time withins to as far back as two weeks to eliminate time consuming manual rework, while extending use cases to migrations and workload mobility to do more with BC/DR.

The company’s product, Virtual Replication, future proofs IT strategies for data centers by enabling enterprises to leverage any on premise or cloud environment to improve the flexibility of IT infrastructures and maximize ROI – the hallmarks of company’s cloud Continuity Platform.

Key features within the platform include:

Cross-hypervisor replication – Reduces DR and testing/development costs by enabling customers to integrate Hyper-V into their VMware-based datacenters. Quick migration of workloads to new IT infrastructures improves ROI and easy replication between hypervisors helps avoid vendor lock-in.

Replicate from private cloud to AWS – Dramatically reduces IT capital costs and variability with a simple recurring expense, while leveraging AWS for production and on-demand resource access.

The company has also host a partner product roadmap session, which will provide a short and long-range view on company’s product goals and how it will support their business growth. Other partner activities included in-booth presentations by company’s technical experts discussing technology integration with Pure Storage and Cisco, and an after-hours concert co-hosted with Kaminario.
