Enhancement to IBM Quick Assessment program
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 15, 2015 at 2:16 pmVisual Storage Intelligence announced an enhancement to the IBM Corp.-sponsored, Quick Assessment program, a business partner-focused program that has been in existence since 2012.
This enhancement, the Flash Analyzer, enables business partners to identify specific workloads in a storage environment that would benefit from a flash storage array, arming them with a tool to more confidently offer high-value counsel to its storage prospects and customers.
“The Flash Analyzer removes the guesswork that occurs when prospects begin to investigate integrating flash storage into their storage environment…,” stated Van Symons, CTO, Visual Storage Intelligence, “…the ability of the flash analyzer to accurately identify the appropriate workloads will allow partners the opportunity to present valuable, accurate information that prospects seek when making a purchasing decision.“
A recent storage study found that more than half of those questioned said their organizations had deployed flash while asignificant number said they plan to do so in the next 18 months. These data reinforce the belief that the question for most storage professionals is not whether they should deploy flash storage, but how they should deploy it.
Within one day, company’s Quick Assessment delivers actionable intelligence that allows partners to pinpoint solutions for their prospect and customer’s storage environments. The Flash Analyzer allows partners to confidently uncover, identify, and predict customer’s workloads that would benefit from the installation of a flash storage array.
