PernixData Proven Designs Ensure Integration of Storage Intelligence Software

PernixData, Inc. announced the availability of PernixData Proven Designs (PPD), which are detailed reference architectures and design guides that validate PernixData’s storage intelligence software with partner solutions.

PPD documents complement company’s various partnership efforts, which include the company’s own PernixDrive program and membership in strategic third-party programs from Cisco, Citrix, VCE, VMware and others, to assure seamless deployment of storage intelligence software in every virtualized data center. With these joint solutions, any company can deploy a best-of-breed decoupled storage architecture that maximizes the performance of virtualized applications while minimizing ongoing storage costs.

Building decoupled ecosystem through technology alliances
The PernixDrive technology alliance program brings leading vendors together for the advancement of decoupled storage architectures. • FVP is Verified as Citrix ready; PernixData is a Citrix Ready Premier Partner – FVP software has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with XenDesktop and XenApp to ensure fast, reliable and scalable virtual desktop and application delivery.

• VCE Vblock Ready – PernixData has completed a series of comprehensive tests that validate the solution’s ability to run on Vblock Systems under normal operating conditions and failure scenarios.

• VMware (Horizon View) Validated – FVP software is certified with VMware Horizon View for virtual desktop deployments, which includes a validated reference architecture.
