HGST Previews Already Released 10TB Helium HDD and NVMe-Compliant SSDs

At OCP U.S. Summit 2015

HGST, Inc., a Western Digital company, showcased the world’s first enterprise 10TB HDD, and the NVMe-compliant SN100 Series PCIe SSDs at the 2015 OCP U.S. Summit.

Along with HGST’s booth #C5, products will be showcased at the HP (booth #B3), Quanta (booth #C6), and Penguin Computing (booth #C2), locations on the OCP show floor:

  • World’s First enterprise 10TB HDD: HGST previews the 10TB HDD for cloud-to-cold storage applications that sets unprecedented capacity at the lowest $/TB and watts/TB by harnessing two complementary technologies: HelioSealtechnology and host-managed Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR).
  • NVMe-compliant SN100 Series PCIe SSDs: HGST showcases its new NVMe-compliant PCIe SSDs that will drive the next wave of server Flash adoption with ease of deployment and simplified system integration paired with HGST’s leading performance, quality and reliability.
