The release of firmware 2.1.0.54 is a milestone for Digiever to expand more comprehensive Digiever NVR IP video total solution.” said Catherine Yeh, product manager, Digiever. “By now Digiever has launched comprehensive IP video surveillance solution, including Digiever NVR, Digiarray, Video Wall Decoder, CMS and mobile surveillance app DIGIMobileV2. We are very excited to make surveillance become easier and more convenient to protect the society and the whole world.

NVR failover feature is a reliable backup solution to ensure the reliability of Digiever IP video surveillance system for long-term video recording and monitoring.

All NVR Pro+ and Pro series can be treated as a failover server to monitor NVR recording servers and to take over the responsibility of the failed server. Failover server will cease take over failed NVR as soon as the failed NVR becomes functional. In addition, users can check NVR log system for detailed NVR information.

To keep vital recorded videos for longer time with video protection, storage capacity becomes an important issue when selecting suitable IP video surveillance system. Therefore, Digiever introduces multi-volume storage management to help users flexibly expand NVR’s storage capacity with storage expansion box Digiarray DA-4000E.

Multi-volume storage management offers users a method to easily expand storage capacity without removing original recorded videos. NVR can still operate its usual monitoring missions as normal without any interruption of daily usual tasks.

Besides, users can build different RAID types on NVR and Digiarray since NVR and Digiarray are individual systems.

Digiarray DA-4000E is an external storage expansion unit designed for Digiever NVR series to satisfy customers’ request of storage capacity. One Digiever NVR can connect up to two Digiarray units that can easily expend up to eight HDDs and up to 48TB for recording files. It features hardware RAID to minimize the time to format/rebuild HDDs and HDD hot-swap design allowing users to replace a failed HDD without shutting down the system.

With the release of  firmware Digiever NVR supports up to 6 event types and 15 action types to solidly guard your region with complete event and action management.

Finally, with the release of firmware 2.1.0.54, Digiever NVR has integrated with over 100 IP camera brands and more than 3,600 models to satisfy surveillance requirements in various vertical markets such as finance, education, and retailer shop.
