5nine Software Announces Investment Round

5nine Software Inc., in Microsoft cloud virtualization management, security and compliance provider, announced a significant new round of financing.

The round is an investment led by Insight Venture Partners and the founders of Veeam Software, Inc.

Founded in 2009, 5nine Software helps more than 25,000 satisfied organizations around the globe to reach the potential of their virtual infrastructure. Growth to date is rapid and this round of funding will be used to sustain this growth through adding key sales, marketing, and product development resources.

With this investment, Michael Triplett, MD at Insight Venture Partners, and Ratmir Timashev, founder and CEO of Veeam Software join 5Nine’s board of directors.
