Dvir Ben-Aroya VP Global Business Development, Acronis

Acronis International GmbH announced the appointment of Dvir Ben-Aroya as VP of global business development, effective immediately.

In this role, he will be responsible for the company’s global business growth through strategic partnerships, focusing on expansion in the cloud industry and new market verticals.

“Dvir is an industry visionary with exceptional strategic insight and unique ability to identify, analyze and execute on market opportunities,” said Sergei Beloussov, Acronis CEO. “His vast experience – from working in supplying IT to SMBs to his background in finance – will accelerate our growth. His in-depth understanding of development tactics and market players positions him as the perfect person to develop the opportunities that will drive new growth, particularly in the cloud.”

 Ben-Aroya brings over 15 years of experience in senior business leadership positions in high-tech and financial companies. Prior to joining Acronis, he served as EVP of global partnerships at WebsPlanet, where he was responsible for the company’s expansion to the hosting, telecommunications and cloud industries. His previous positions also include CEO of a leading SaaS sport scouting platform and an investment banker for various international deals.

Ben-Aroya has an M.B.A. in Business Management from the Manchester Business School and a B.A. in Business and Economics from the IDC Interdisciplinary College School of Business in Herzliya, Israel.
