Seagate Winner in HDD Shipped Growth From 2Q14 to 3Q14 – Trendfocus

US-based analyst firm Trendfocus, Inc. published its 3Q14 quarterly update for HDD shipments.

The market grew 6.7% sequentially reaching 147.22 million.

Mobile and nearline shipments exceed expectations and enterprise market jumps up 14% Q/Q to 18.13 million. CE HDD is the only segment going down, especially for Seagate.

This latter is the most growing company Q/Q with 13.4% followed Toshiba with 2.8% and by WD, remaining the leader in total units shipped, with 2.6%.
