CMS Products: One-Click External Recovery HDD

CMS Products Inc. introduced an addition to its line of Windows System Recovery products.

The Rebound external storage appliances make it possible for users to recover from a system crash, freeze or virus attack by pushing the one-press button on the appliance enclosure. It uses the company’s patented Bounceback software to create and maintain a file by file backup of the system drive on the appliance. When confronted with a system failure, the user can restart from the external storage appliance with one-press of the appliance’s button.

The appliance is available in desktop or mobile configurations with capacities ranging from 1TB to 4TB. The product includes Bounceback backup and recovery software. Support is offered for Windows XP through Windows 8.1 and the product will be available through distributors or from the CMS website this November.
