Tintri Becomes Citrix Ready Premier-Level Member
For XenDesktop v7, 7.1 and 7.5
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 31, 2014 at 2:47 pmTintri, Inc. announced that it has become a Citrix Ready Premier-level member.
It is verified as Citrix Ready for Citrix XenDesktop versions 7, 7.1 and 7.5. The company completed a verification process to ensure compatibility with XenDesktop providing confidence in joint solution compatibility.
The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualisation, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. It makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments.
VMstore operates at the VM-level and addresses the mismatch between storage and virtualization to create a solution to help Citrix customers focus on XenDesktop and other business applications, instead of the underlying storage infrastructure. The VM-level visibility identifies performance bottlenecks across the entire virtual infrastructure. Customers can run virtualised desktop and server VMs on the same Tintri VMstore without special tuning. With the ability to support up to 2,000 VMs with high performance and consistent sub-millisecond latency on a single system, it supports one of the highest VM densities in the industry. Customers have deployed 200,000 VMs on Tintri storage systems.
“We are pleased to have Tintri join us as a Premier-level member in the Citrix Ready program,” said a spokesperson at Citrix Systems, Inc. “Citrix Ready makes it easier for customers to select the most suitable virtualisation infrastructure products for their specific needs. By taking part in our programme, Tintri has enabled its customers to obtain the highest quality user experience available today, and the simplest means for making an informed product purchasing selection.“
“As a member of the Citrix Ready programme, we are able to offer customers intelligent solutions that combine our Tintri smart storage with the XenDesktop product,” said Yael Zheng, CMO, Tintri. “VMstore clearly demonstrates our plans to work closely with trusted partners, through the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem, in order to provide the highest quality experience for our customers.“
