American Megatrends Awarded 50 U.S. Patents

American Megatrends Inc. announced its latest round of patent awards.

The company was awarded a total of 50 U.S. patents during 2013. These awards bring the company closer to a 300 patents in total.

Notably, 29 engineers and developers from AMI, collaborating across the globe, were awarded patents this year. Several individuals were awarded multiple patents in 2013, ranging from four to six patents each for three individuals.

The distribution of these awards across each of engineering groups highlights the team-oriented atmosphere that has been a part of AMI’s corporate culture.

Additionally, patents were granted in all of AMI’s core technology areas, including BIOS and UEFI firmware, remote and server management technologies, Android solutions and network storage and storage management.
