Carbonite With Partner Referral Program

Carbonite, Inc. has launched a Partner Referral Program to create more revenue opportunities for its channel partners.

The partner-centric program highlights Carbonite’s commitment to the channel by providing partners with the tools they need to bring in new clients and sustain relationships with existing ones. More than 1,000 Carbonite partners enrolled within the first month, a testament to the commitment the company is making to its channel partners.

Under Carbonite’s new referral program, partners create landing pages for their customer to purchase Carbonite’s solutions. From the co-branded landing pages, customers purchase Carbonite, and are then transferred to the partner. Partners receive a commission equivalent to their partner discount.

“We are committed to providing our partners with the tools and resources they need to increase sales and build lasting relationships with their clients – and our new Partner Referral Program does both,” said David Maffei, VP of global channel sales, Carbonite. “A Carbonite partners’ average order value of sales through the Partner Referral Program is 29% higher than traditional channel sales, and the channel partner gets to own the client relationship once the purchase is complete. We are proud to offer this level of service to our partners and this new program is only one example of the commitment we have made to the channel community.”

In addition to having greater control leading up to the sale, partners maintain control after the sale. Partners handle future plan renewals and any follow-up, which helps grow their client relationships further. The program has also allowed partners to bring in new customers and reengage past clients.
