The storage rackmount server is a highly available, fully redundant, and fault tolerant storage solution delivering up to 280TB in a single 4U, 70-bay enclosure with dual server nodes. These nodes support the Xeon processor E5-2600 v2 product family for increased performance and reliability. Additionally, it can scale-out to support up to 3PB of storage and is architected to support scalable big data and private cloud deployments.

NexentaStor 4.0 is faster and stronger than its previous version. Its extended petabytes scaling abilities offers improved features over previous versions including 4X faster performance and over a 50% reduction in HA failover times.

With its improved security, availability, and manageability, NexentaStor 4.0 is absolutely a game changer in the storage market,” said David Driggers, CEO, Cirrascale. “When this level of Software-Defined Storage is installed on our versatile, open-architecture CirraStor storage platforms, it becomes an extremely disruptive solution in an industry where customers have been looking for the right storage solutions that can provide lower TCO while delivering investment protection for years.

The Cirrascale CirraStor platform provides a great hardware foundation for customers selecting NexentaStor 4.0 for their Software-Defined Storage requirements,” said Thomas Cornely, VP of product management, Nexenta. “Both companies provide a product that is robust, reliable, scalable and cost effective. When used together, customers are sure to experience the true benefits of an enterprise Software-Defined Storage solution on reliable, open-architecture hardware.
