CodeGuard Teams With Rackspace
To offer backup solution for Rackspace cloud sites
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 9, 2014 at 2:39 pmCodeGuard Inc., provider of cloud website backup services, announced a referral agreement with Rackspace Hosting, in cloud computing, which will enable Rackspace to refer CodeGuard’s website backup services to customers.
“Collaborating with CodeGuard is ideal, as the company provides a robust backup offering, and they share our dedication to delivering the highest quality customer service,” said Chris Farmer, head of business strategy and development for cloud Sites, Rackspace.
CodeGuard uses a virtual version control system and stores site data in the cloud. Backups are stored as the differential between each daily scan of the site, providing visibility for users into what has changed along with the ability to ‘undo’ any changes. Restoring a previous version is easy. In the event of a hack or unauthorized change, webmasters can revert to the last known ‘good’ version and have their changes restored.
Jonathan Manuzak, director of engineering, CodeGuard, said: “We are excited to bring our expertise in website backup to Rackspace customers. We share a focus in delivering engineering excellence, while simultaneously providing a level of personal service to our customer base that is almost unheard of in the industry.“
Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, CodeGuard is a provider of cloud website backup services with over 100,000 websites and databases backed up at 99.9% reliability levels and over 25,000 customers.
