Children’s Hospital Central California Implements BridgeHead HDM

BridgeHead Software Ltd. announced that Children’s Hospital Central California has selected the its Health Data Management (HDM) platform.

Integrated with Children’s NetApp storage environment, the combined BridgeHead backup and archiving solution enables the hospital to quickly recover Meditech data.

Children’s Hospital Central California is a not-for-profit children’s hospital located on a 50-acre campus in Madera, CA. Its medical staff of 550 physicians treats more inpatient cases than any pediatric hospital in California making it the busiest children’s hospital in the state. With 356 licensed beds, Children’s Hospital Central California is one of the 10 largest hospitals of its type in the nation. 

BridgeHead enables protection for Meditech with integrated capabilities to ensure coherent data capture across Meditech’s complex, multi-server environment. In addition, the IT administrators at Children’s were impressed with BridgeHead’s integrated capabilities for NetApp, which orchestrate data capture using the Meditech Backup Facility (MBF) API and NetApp’s snapshot technologies.
