Informatica Data Archive Smart Partitioning Software With Oracle Storage

Informatica Corporation, provider of data integration software, and a Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), will deliver solutions with Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances based on its Data Archive Smart Partitioning.

The combined solution provides a reference architecture designed to improve data management and performance, while lowering TCO when managing large volumes of data.

Informatica has demonstrated the joint solution at Collaborate 14, the technology and applications forum for the Oracle community, April 7-11, 2014 at The Venetian and Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NE.

Storage savings result from putting older data on lower-cost storage, as well as reducing the size and number of the copies of the active data produced.”
