Cristie Software Bare Machine Recovery Solution for CommVault
Providing recoveries directly from Simpana backup software

It will expand the company’s existing bare machine recovery product suite which includes NBMR for EMC Networker, ABMR for EMC Avamar and TBMR for IBM TSM. With this addition the company provides BMR solutions for three of the four main players in the market for enterprise backup software.
The software provides automated backup, recovery and migration solutions for Windows, Linux and other Unix machines. All Cristie BMR products recover OS and applications to the original hardware, to dissimilar hardware or to virtual or cloud machines and recoveries are completed in less than 10 minutes.

Many of our largest customers use mixed backup technologies in different divisions of their organization and we can now provide a single solution with a common interface to provide recoveries from TSM, Networker, Avamar and Simpana.“
SBMR recovers the OS and applications to the original hardware, to dissimilar hardware or to a VM and recoveries are usually completed in less than 10 minutes.
