PCIe3.0 Tower and Rackmount RAID System
ExaSAN PCIe3.0 storage solutions include the A08S3-PS 8-bay tower RAID system and A16S3-PS 16-bay rackmount RAID system. At NAB Show 2014, the company will demonstrate the high performance of A08S3-PS on the new Mac Pro, which in average can perform 1,200MB/s, approximately a stream of uncompress 4K video. Also, it will reveal specifications and release information regarding the A16S3-PS. This 16-bay rackmount RAID system with 32Gb bandwidth will provide performance to support 4K video productions in rack mount environments.
C1M PCIe to Thunderbolt 2 DAS/SAN Converter
ExaSAN C1M DAS/SAN converter allows Mac computer users to connect their Mac to ExaSAN DAS and SAN solutions. Each C1M converter has one QSFP port and a Thunderbolt 2 port to transfer ExaSAN’s PCIe to Thunderbolt with downward compatibility. During NAB Show, the firm will demonstrate C1M with A08S3-PS to bring 1,200MB/s performance to new Mac Pro. Also, another C1M will enable a MacBook Pro to access an ExaSAN network.
ExaSAN PCIe Simple SAN Shared Storage Solution With Lv. 2 Local Backup
ExaSAN Simple SAN composed by ExaSAN RAID systems, a MDC built-in switch, and SANit File System is a effective SAN solution for small to medium production workgroups. To enhance the local performance and to add the backup function, the company brings out the Lv.2 SAN concept which is attaching local DAS to client host with Z2M HBA card.
