Asap Systems Upgrades Box Backup Feature on BarCloud
Through partner Box.com (UK)
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 24, 2014 at 2:59 pmASAP Systems, Inc., a specialist in the barcode-based inventory management and asset tracking market, announced that its online application, BarCloud, facilitates a faster and easier cloud backup process for its users through its partner Box.com (UK) Ltd.
Backup with Box, a dynamic, flexible content management platform that empowers users to share and access their data from anywhere, provides BarCloud customers assurance when it comes to securing inventory and asset content online. Businesses already using BarCloud benefit from the new streamlined process of securing their valuable inventory and asset data online from anywhere, at any time.
Previously, BarCloud customers would have to go through a multi-step process, but now the procedure has been trimmed to save time and is now easier to navigate for an improved experience. The users can click on the Backup BarCloud link from any admin menu within the system and are then prompted to enter their Box credentials. Then, with one click, the user grants ASAP Systems’ BarCloud immediate authorization to access their Box account. This cues the database upload process, which, when completed, can be viewed on the box.com website.
“We’ve designed ASAP BarCloud so the data seamlessly uploads into Box’s server, giving businesses peace-of-mind and the ability to quickly and effectively secure some of their most critical information: inventory data,” says Greg Wachowiak, director, ASAP Systems.
BarCloud users also have the power to import inventory and asset data into the system straight from Box.com. It’s as easy as selecting what data you want to import, mapping the data fields of interest to a destination file, and performing the import into BarCloud from anywhere, at anytime.
