CloudBacko Releases Beta Server Backup Software

With the booming size of data and the ways in which it is being harnessed and used by businesses, IBM Corp. predict 4.4 million jobs in big data wrangling by 2017.

It announced the release of its beta backup software. Furthermore, the command line tool allows businesses to add other applications, creating unified backup software for all servers.

The software also supports backup to all AWS API compatible storage, Dropbox, China Telecom eYun, businesses’ own FTP/SFTP sites, as well as local or mapped network drives, and offers concurrent backup to keep information in multiple destinations, insulating businesses from the disruption that can be caused by catastrophic failure at any one backup source.
