The endpoint backup feature provides backup functionality across all platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux) and devices (laptops, smartphones and tablets) to protect corporate data anytime, anywhere, on any device.

Many companies continue to believe in a myth that they need a public cloud solution to provide backup, sync and access from anywhere and any device,” said Anis Abdul, CTO, CodeLathe. “FileCloud is leading the charge in debunking this myth by offering all the cloud features in a private cloud while granting companies complete control over their data.”

Some of the advantages of endpoint backup offered by FileCloud:

  • Cross Platform: Supports all the popular OS platforms and computing devices.
  • Performance: Advanced algorithms ensure backups across networks of varying quality.
  • Simple: Intuitive UI. Non-disruptive and automatic backup resume simplifies user experience.
  • Scalable: It is built on a scalable architecture that doesn’t impose any limit on file size or count.

The update also brings file sync support to existing enterprise network file shares, automatic media backup for iPhones/iPads and multi-language UI support. Currently German, Italian and Dutch languages are supported out of the box.

Enterprise customers are looking for a holistic system that provides all the key cloud features – access, sync, share and backup,” said Madhan Kanagavel, CEO, CodeLathe. “We are thrilled to add endpoint backup feature to FileCloud and offer a complete on-premise cloud solution that brings together all the key elements of cloud services at a compelling price point.”

FileCloud offers ROI when compared against any competing product in the category. By adding endpoint backup, FileCloud has further extended its lead in terms of low TCO (TCO).

With FileCloud pricing plan starting at $999 per year, it offers a simple pricing model that offers all the features at a straightforward plan.

FileCloud has doubled its customer base in the last three months. Some of the recent customers include Sanderson Farms, South Carolina Aquarium, Onsala Space Observatory, and DT SWISS AG.
