SafeNet Offers 30-Days Trial of Cloud Encryption and Secure Key Management on AWS

SafeNet, Inc. announced a thirty-day free trial of its ProtectV virtual encryption solutions and Virtual KeySecure via AWS Marketplace.

Financial services, health care organizations, information services, enterprises and high tech businesses can proofs of concept for a month with no cost using the solution while maintaining control and compliance.

“We’re excited to add free trial versions of SafeNet’s ProtectV and Virtual KeySecure products to the AWS Marketplace,” said Terry Hanold, VP, cloud commerce, AWS. “With these offerings, customers can start using SafeNet software in a matter of minutes, at no additional charge during the trial. Shifting to production usage is friction-free, with no migration required, and software charges simply appearing on the customer’s AWS bill.“

ProtectV and Virtual KeySecure are available on AWS Marketplace, and both offer thirty-day trials.

The encryption solution for virtual instances is a software appliance that manages and stores the encryption keys for ProtectV. The trial is for thirty days, when customers sign-up between January 9, 2014 and April 1, 2014, and will be available on AWS Marketplace. After the thirty-day trial, it can be converted to an hourly or monthly pricing model, depending on which option the customer has selected.
