DNA Evolution for Mac Available From StorageDNA

StorageDNA, Inc. announced the availability of DNA Evolution Mac-based server and Thunderbolt systems (M Series).

Media and entertainment professionals who prefer the Mac ecosystem have access to the features and benefits of the company’s LTO with LTFS archive-retrieval workflow solution. By connecting a DNA Evolution Mac Archive solution to field, NAS or SAN storage, fast archive and restore performance can be achieved. The Mac-based models are cost-effective solutions, from field to enterprise, and offer hardware flexibility, with a choice of LTO tape drive connection.

It’s a platform that combines nearline and archive storage on LTO tape and was designed to help media professionals manage digital file-based content and lower storage costs. Built on LTO with LTFS technologies, it enables levels of archive-restore performance, allows media workflows like conform from LTO, and delivers search and browse features to streamline and accelerate media pipelines.
