Virtium Expands TuffDrive Embedded SSD Portfolio
With 32GB SLC-based 10-pin eUSB module and eUSB key

Expanded line of TuffDrive SSD products includes the high capacity SLC-based 10-pin eUSB module at 32GB, and high-performance, fully locked bill-of-material (BOM) eUSB keys.
Designed for performance, capacity and increased product longevity required by intelligent embedded systems, TuffDrive eUSB products are storage solutions for primary and boot storage in networking, server, embedded, industrial and transportation applications.
“Our embedded customers are able to leverage the advantages of the industry’s fastest 10-pin eUSB modules and eUSB keys that align with the increased performance and reliability requirements of next-generation intelligent systems,” said Gary Drossel, VP of product strategy, Virtium.
Expanded line of SLC-based TuffDrive 10-pin eUSB modules and eUSB keys are available.
10-pin eUSB modules are offered in standard and low profile configurations and come in 8, 16 and 32GB capacities with sustained R/W speeds of 37MB/s and 35MB/s respectively.
TuffDrive eUSB keys are offered in 8, 16 and 32GB capacities with sustained R/W speeds of 160MB/s and 125 MB/s respectively. In addition, Virtium provides an optional write protect switch for its eUSB keys.
