IP Surveillance Cameras With micro SD/SDHC Card Up to 32GB

EnGenius Technologies, Inc., provider of high-performance, versatile networking and telecommunications solutions for businesses and consumers, is adding video surveillance to its expanding portfolio of networking solutions with the launch of a family of high-definition IP cameras for businesses and prosumers.

Announced at the 2014 ICES, the new high-performance, IP cameras are optimized for use with EnGenius’ family of Gigabit PoE switches and portfolio of indoor and outdoor wireless access points.

Designed for day and night surveillance, the new professional-grade 720P and 1080P cameras, which are offered in bullet, box and dome form factors, are PoE 802.3af compliant for easy deployment.

Offering excellent picture quality and a wide field-of-view for indoor or outdoor video surveillance projects, all IP surveillance cameras feature a built-in micro SD/SDHC card slot capable of supporting up to 32GB of storage enabling the cameras to capture and store JPEG images or recorded video clips on internal storage or on a PC.

The 2-Megapixel series camras, which feature Focus Assist for fine-tuning of the focus after setup, support tri-codecs of H.264, MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG and can dual stream simultaneously to save bandwidth or storage space. Compliant with the ONVIF standard to allow easy integration with third-party software, the cameras support Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to provide clear images under varying lighting conditions, motion detection to conserve storage space, and tamper detection to detect when the field-of-view is altered.
