New Options for Handy Backup Software

Novosoft LLC. has enhanced server backup functionality of their Handy Backup software.

The program contains features intended to make server backup and recovery procedures more convenient.

“Handy Backup provides server backup solutions suitable for different types of IT-infrastructure. Out product not only contains advanced features for protecting individual server but is able to cope successfully with challenges of network backup. The product line includes several editions designed to facilitate server backup in small- to medium-sized organizations,” said Aleksey Dolgushev, head of Handy Backup business development department.

Server editions support automatic backup and recovery of server databases and applications, including MS Exchange, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM (Lotus) Notes/Domino, DB2. Data could be saved to local storages, as well as to variety of remote locations: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, Amazon S3, HBDrive and other cloud services. Backups could be encrypted and transferred through secure protocols to prevent unauthorized access to data.
