Cosentry Cloud Recovery, in Partnership With Geminare

Cosentry, Inc. extended its DR services with the launch of Cosentry Cloud Recovery, in partnership with Geminare Inc.

Delivered from the company’s data centers in Lenexa, KS and Omaha, NE, the real-time cloud-based replication service is suited for enterprises seeking to leverage the company’s cloud infrastructure and data centers to protect their business applications from the cost and complexity of system downtime.

The launch comes at a time when analysts are highlighting the burgeoning RaaS market opportunity.

• Gartner’s November 2013 Critical Capabilities Assessment of the RaaS market estimates a global RaaS market of $564m in 2013 with a projected CAGR of 21% over the next three years.

• A November 2013 TechNavio industry report predicts a market valued at $5.7B million by 2018, and names Geminare as “one of the major pure-play cloud-based DR solution vendors that is dominating the RaaS space.“

• MarketsandMarkets May 2013 report states, “The global RaaS and cloud based BC market is forecasted to grow from $640.8 million in 2013 to $5.77 billion by 2018, at a CAGR of 55.2%.“
