Jim Schneibel VP WW Sales, Pluribus

Pluribus Networks, Inc., in software and hardware network virtualization platforms for the cloud, announced that Jim Schneibel has joined the company as VP sales.

Schneibel joined Pluribus from Riverbed.

Pluribus also announced that it has doubled the office space at its new Palo Alto HQs at 2455 Faber Place.

During 2013, the company has doubled its employee number; the new location can house up to 100 employees, supporting the company’s growth in 2014 and beyond. The 13,200-square-foot office has ten conferences rooms – compared to three in the previous location – as well as a bigger server room, a special customer training room, and a gym for its employees.

A key employee hire for Pluribus at this stage of the company’s growth is Schneibel, its VP of WW sales. Before Pluribus, he was VP of enterprise sales, Americas, at Riverbed. Prior to Riverbed, he held various sales and business development executive positions at tech companies such as Cisco and Bay Networks, with the last position being regional VP sales.
