X-IO ‘Happy Fifth Anniversary’

X-IO Technologies (Xiotech Corporation) launched its Happy Fifth Anniversary customer program to celebrate and promote valued customers that have utilised its ISE solutions for five years or more without a single visit from a service engineer or ever having to replace a disk drive.

The programme provides the longevity and ongoing performance of X-IO’s products compared to rival rip and replace shorter lifecycle solutions. Its storage technology is creating a new breed of storage customers who will demand more from their storage, and expect to get it with less hardware and cost than before.

X-IO’s Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) is a system which offers both consistent and accelerated performance via HDDs, or real-time hybrid solutions with enterprise SSDs and HDDs. All solutions provide enterprise reliability with self-healing capabilities and are suited for a range of Microsoft, Oracle, VMware and Citrix applications.

CAPIS, Inc., an institutional agency broker and research provider has worked with X-IO for five years and implemented the solution when it decided to re-build its storage infrastructure from the ground up. It selected X-IO because of its performance packed offering at the time. The institution has implemented six ISE units.
