QLogic Strengthens Leadership in FC Adapter Market

QLogic Corp. announced that the company gained share in the FC adapter market in the third quarter of calendar year 2013, according to new data from the Dell’Oro Group Q3 2013 SAN Report and the Crehan Research, Inc.‘s Q3 2013 Quarterly Market Share Report.

QLogic captured revenue market share in the 16Gb Gen 5 FC category, increasing by 12 percentage points sequentially, according to the Dell’Oro Group. Both research firms reported that QLogic increased the lead over its nearest competitor by more than five percentage points in overall FC revenue market share, boosting the company’s lead to more than 15.4 percentage points and strengthening its leading FC revenue share position to more than 54%.
