Gridstore 3.0 Software-Defined Storage Solution Available

Gridstore, Inc., in optimized storage for Windows Server with Hyper-V that accelerates application I/O up to 500%, announced availability for its software-defined storage (SDS) solution, Gridstore 3.0.

Architected for Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V, 3.0 was designed to address the architectural disconnect between traditional storage and virtualized servers, an issue to help deliver performance in a Windows Server Hyper-V environment at an affordable price point with scalability.

3.0 hybrid and capacity models are available and shipping in either 4TB or 12TB node configurations with a minimum of 3 nodes required.

Designed to meet the storage virtualization challenges faced by mid-size enterprises 3.0 is available in both hybrid and capacity models, providing the solution for optimizing virtualized application performance. 3.0 delivers improved application performance and first True QoS)in a pay-as-you-scale format.

Gridstore solutions fit into Windows architecture appearing like local HDDs to the OS. It is a storage solution for performance (hybrid caching) and capacity storage challenges.

Originally only available through the Gridstore Early Access Program (EAP) 3.0 has been met with acceptance with 100% of their beta customers converting to purchase with the majority experiencing greater application acceleration than anticipated as well as improved ease-of-install and management.
