Nik Bahram Global VP Marketing, Virident
Former NXP and LSI marketing executive

He brings more than 25 years of marketing and engineering experience in the storage, server and semiconductor fields to Virident, and will be responsible for product/pricing management, sales enablement, solutions and benchmark labs, outbound marketing, and development of Virident’s brand in the enterprise storage markets. He will focus on demand creation and revenue generation in the server/storage OEM, enterprise and web 100 segments worldwide.
He will report to the company’s CEO Mike Gustafson.
Before joining the Virident team, Bahram spent four years at NXP Semiconductors as VP of mobile and computing segment marketing and sales and earlier as VP of WW engineering and strategy at the Identification Business Unit. Prior to NXP, Bahram was VP of the strategic marketing storage business unit at LSI, where he was instrumental in accelerating growth in hard-disk drive and SSD SOCs, pre-amplifiers and controllers through product roadmap definition and strategic partnerships. Earlier in his career, he held a number of engineering management and C-level/GM roles at Motorola, Digital Equipment Corporation, Creative Labs and several start-ups.
