The EN-2800S6T-CM 6G SAS NAS based on latest proNAS 3.0 OS that supports storage management and application features such as VAAI, HA, thin-provisioning, snapshot, replication, etc, and it can be deployed in any IT environment since it supports multiple interfaces for host servers and clients. It’s a solution consolidating NAS and iSCSI into one box which provides both file level and block level I/O access. As the new generation product from existing model EN-2800A/H-CM, EN-2800S6T-CM has also been updated with hardware spec including dual core CPU, native 6Gb/s internal bus and drive interface, and larger cache size, etc, which all enhances proNAS 3.0 performance.
It has built-in hardware RAID engine to offer fault tolerance and data protection as RAID level 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and 50 mode. Drives can be set as hot spare, have automatically hot rebuild and online capacity expansion within the enclosure. It has fully-featured backup solutions including manual or scheduled backup for file, folder, and shares, and it can be backup and restore from multiple local or remote devices. Features for proNAS 3.0:
VAAI (vStorage APIs for Array Integration)
for both block and NFS storage
- Aside from VAAI support for block storage iSCSI volumes, proNAS 3.0 also supports VAAI for NAS (NFS) to improve VM performance. With VAAI support, VMs have operation performance by offloading cycles from ESXi to storage and storage can be further effectively utilized by VMs.
- 3 nodes HA cluster
- proNAS 3.0 offers up to 3 nodes active/active HA service for storage which ensures no service down time when any NAS server failed.
Thin Provisioning for file and block level volumes
- All volumes can be configured with thin provisioning to optimize storage capacity and further reduce cost.
- backup and remote real-time replication
- Complete backup solution, including full, differential, and incremental two-way backup via attached storage (USB/eSATA/iSCSI/RDX), or to remote share, Rsync server, cloud storage and remote real-time replication.
App support
User can monitor proNAS system remotely through App, both Android and Apple, on mobile devices.
