Tiger Technology,
announced the release of the T-series
family of storage systems, set for November 2013.
T-Box
It is designed to make collaborative and multi-user storage
workflows easier, faster, and more productive, more reliable, and
more flexible. Through the use of technology, engineering and system
design, it increases performance and frees users from time-consuming
and demanding maintenance. It is integrated with Tiger projectStore
for project management and backup and archive, and HSM layers to form
a complete yet open data workflow solution.
"The launch of the T-series realizes the Tiger vision for
powerful and simple shared storage workflows for rich media and
enterprise", said Robert Keske, CEO, Tiger Technology.
He
added "The design of this advanced network and data
management technology has been guided by feedback from our customers,
and addresses their needs for accessible and easy-to-setup solutions
to handle the ever-increasing quantity and complexity of their data.
With the T-series, customers can now take advantage of our
intelligent storage engine in appliance, software-only, and
enterprise server forms, whichever best fits their operations."
The series is built on a proprietary and flexible Tiger Technology storage engine that provides automatic features
including:
- Shared Network Storage in 5 clicks – enable non-IT staff to setup
their storage and workflows with the T-series’ web-based
configuration tools
- Automatic background file defragmentation and file sequence
optimization – virtually eliminate downtime for maintenance and
increase system performance and user productivity with storage that
manages itself
- Integration with projectStore – enable post production workflows
with multi-user project management, as well as storage management,
backup, archive, and HSM
- Flexible network connectivity – customers can deploy T-series
solutions on a variety of network backbones for implementation that
suits their needs
- Support for Mac, Windows, and Linux clients
- Support for Avid, Apple, Adobe and other post workflows
- 24/7 phone and email support
Solution Highlights
- T-Store
Creative professionals, boutique post studios,
and small data enterprises can layer the software over their existing
storage devices, and with five clicks, transform them into
intelligent, multi-user workflow systems. It extracts the
maximum performance from iSCSI, Ethernet, and Fibre network fabrics
so that users can choose the performance level suitable for their
application. It enables multi-user project collaboration through
media and metadata sharing, and file system defragmentation and
sequence optimization for maximum performance, productivity, and
uptime.
- T-Box
T-Box is an integrated storage
appliance designed to solve storage workflow challenges for SMBs and
data-dependent enterprises. With a built-in high performance server
and high capacity and upgradeable storage, this 3 rack-unit
enterprise system provides a production backbone in one compact,
high-specification box. It includes all T-Store functionality as
well as premium features including support for Ethernet and FC
networks, single-license pricing, and integration with Tiger
projectStore PRO for the ultimate in multi-user collaborative
workflows.
- T-Serve
T-Serve is the highest performance and most
flexible shared storage workflow solution in the T-series family.
This 2 rack-unit server-class system has optional HA and meets the
needs of the demanding users with the high performance and
system integration requirements. The intelligence and automation in
the T-series engine can be harnessed to a variety of storage hardware
and network fabrics to create a high-end storage solution suitable
for the most demanding applications, including enterprise data
management and 4k workflows. With support for Tiger Technology’s replication and tiering module, users can deploy advanced
HSM policies for complete data life cycle management.
