Jim Darragh CEO, Ipanema Technologies

Ipanema Technologies, in network solutions allowing enterprises to guarantee their application performance, announced Jim Darragh as its CEO, effective immediately.
 
In his new role, Darragh will push the company as a challenger in the WAN Optimization Controllers (WOC) and Services (WOS) markets, being a the vendor who can dynamically guarantee application performance for every user.
 
 Darragh’s experience spans 20 years in international, growth software and hardware companies, most noticeably his recent roles as CEO of Zeus Technology and SVP at Riverbed. He is expertly aware of the market in which Ipanema operates. He understands the current shift in the marketplace towards WAN Optimization as a service (WOS) and believes Ipanema is placed to take advantage of this.
 
Darragh explains his decision to join the company: "This sector is set for explosive growth in the coming years and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be at the helm of a company that can capitalize on this. Ipanema offers the perfect antidote to everyone currently under pressure to operate, deliver and control networks cost effectively in what is an increasingly complex environment with more and more applications being added daily."
