Cepoint 2U NAS Upgrades to 48TB
Using 6Gb/s 4TB HDDs

In the past Rx-1702 servers utilized proprietary software drivers to be able to make use of drives beyond 2TB. This has been replaced with direct plug-in mode requiring no software driver to be able to plug-in high capacity drives 4TB.
With the new upgrade, no special software driver required, so users can expand their storage units by hot-plugging 2TB, 3TB or 4TB HDDs to the expansion drive modules.
Rx-1702 upgrade allows users to expand their storage up to 48TB in a single 2U box or chassis and scale to unlimited volume using external expansion boxes.
The storage servers were originally developed as complementary storage sever for the company’s data acquisition and telecommunications products in addition to it’s video capturing and recording solutions such as the Studio9000 DVI/VGA RGB(HDTV) and HD-SDI Multi-channel Digital Video Recorder system with IRIG-B or GPS frame time-stamp capability.
Cepoint’s line of 2U storage servers also includes hybrid removable SSDs and 2.5" HDD lines of products.
The units features low power, high density storage and performance compute power for public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud or enterprise virtualization.
Optional 28V DC powered version is also available in addition to the standard 110-240V AC powered unit.
Rx-1702 2U storage series features includes RAID level 0, 1, 10(1E), 3, 5, 6, 30, 50, 60, Single Disk or JBOD.
Cepoint’s Data acquisition products, servers, storage solutions and Studio9000DVR video acquisition systems are being used in enterprise organizations, scientific R & D labs, broadcasting, industrial R & D labs, and defense agencies for complex imaging applications.
