Supermicro Qualified Toshiba HDDs
2.5-inch and 3.5-inch enterprise models

As part of Supermicro’s storage offerings, customers will now be able to deploy Toshiba drives in either enterprise server or storage systems.
The qualified drives include:
- MG03ACA/MG03ACAY/MG03SCA/MG03SCP enterprise: 3.5-inch HDD series includes both SATA models – the MG03ACA400 and the MG3ACA400Y – and SAS models – MG03SCA400 and the MG03SCP400 – and all deliver 4TB of storage, the company’s largest capacity to date. The MG Series is suited for RAID storage and arrays, tiered virtual infrastructures for public and private cloud deployments, archives, and disk-based backup and data protection solutions. In addition, it includes power management features designed to reduce power consumption during off-peak activity periods, helping to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.
- AL13SE enterprise: 2.5-inch 6Gb SAS interface HDD series offer capacities ranging from 300GB to 900GB. Designed for mission-critical applications, the series features an operating reliability rating of 2,000,000 power-on hours, a 25% increase over prior-generation drives.
