Willie Briscoe and Powers Taylor Investigate sTec Sale to Western Digital
Fifth and sixth law firms to do it
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 28, 2013 at 3:10 pmFormer United States SEC attorney Willie Briscoe and the securities litigation firm of Powers Taylor, LLP are investigating the sale of sTec, Inc. to Western Digital Corp., for shareholders.
Under the terms of the proposed sale, valued at approximately $340 million, STEC shareholders will receive only $6.85 for each share of STEC stock owned, well below the 52-week high of $8.39.
The sTec sale investigation centers on whether sTec’s shareholders are receiving adequate compensation for their shares in the proposed deal, whether the transaction undervalues sTec’s stock, and whether sTec’s board attempted to obtain the highest share price for all shareholders prior to agreeing to the deal.
The Briscoe Law Firm, PLLC is a service business litigation and shareholder rights advocacy firm with more than 20 years of experience in litigation and transactional matters.
