Mimic Data Named North American Distributor of BluPointe

BluPointe DRS, LLC, in cloud
technology, has named Mimic Data
Corporation North American distributor of BluPointe’s TruBareMetal.

In customizable online backup and cloud storage
services for MSPs and resellers, Mimic Data provides online backup, cloud
storage, cloud hosting, BC and DR solutions designed to both integrate and
replace existing backup tape and disk-to-disk solutions.

Mimic Data CEO Robert Barnett will represent TruBareMetal’s enhanced secure
cloud backup solution throughout the North American market. The TruBareMetal
program provides first-of-its-kind capabilities to perform a delta block on a
bootable image and with it a range of new benefits for protecting critical
business application data using cloud technology.

BluPointe’s cloud-based technology allows resellers, MSP’s and cloud backup
service providers to create a local bootable image of their customers’ critical
server. If that server fails for any reason, the customer can restore all data
to an alternate computer (similar or dissimilar) using the same server or a
virtual server, and be operational within minutes.

The TruBareMetal program is BluPointe’s backup software innovation
allowing images to be moved offsite every day; only the changes at block level
are moved each day. When disaster strikes, the client has a full bootable image
that can be restored either by Internet, disk, or encrypted USB device in a few
minutes at the customer’s location, DR location, a service provider’s location
or corporate office.

BluPointe’s cloud-based backup solution offers security and data
integrity, encrypted during transit (in flight and at rest) as well as in the
user’s data center. BluPointe’s backup software is designed to provide zero
data loss, fast restore (file or image), instant access from anywhere, full
reporting and silent operation with easy installation and exceptional security.

The TruBareMetal software supports virtual environments like Hyper-V, VMware
including Change Block Tracking allows processing only changed blocks of the
VMWare and XenServer and applications like SQL, Exchange (including 2003, 2007,
2010 and 2013), Open File Backup, Oracle and SharePoint, and uses vertical de-dupe yechnology to transmit and store only a fraction of what other cloud solutions transmit and store. BluPointe technology frees users from the
need to re-master or re-backup their full data, ever.
